Westport Household Hazardous Waste Day 2021
A public service provided by the Westport Board of Health for residents to safely dispose of hazardous materials.
Why have a collection for Household Hazardous Waste?
Many household items contain hazardous substances that pose health and environmental risks. These substances can leach into groundwater if poured down the drain, thrown in the trash or dumped directly onto the ground. At our collection day, hazardous products will be sorted, categorized, properly packed by a licensed hauler, and disposed of in an appropriate manner.
Registration On-Line is Required - Registration OPENS on 9/20
Register for FREE for the desired time slot below. Limited to the first 320 vehicles (40 cars every half hour for 4 hours). If the event is fully booked, a wait list will be created. The Westport Board of Health reserves the right to close the event if the maximum threshold of waste collected has been met.
Who: For Any Westport Residents; ID required on site; No business/bulk waste can be accepted
Place: Behind the former Westport Jr/Sr High School,
19 Main Rd., Westport, MA
(*Traffic will flow from the south lot, where you check in, and exit the north lot.)
Date: Saturday, 10/2/21
Time: 9am-1pm
(*Must register online for a half-hour time slot, see below.)

(*Please bring a print out of your registration to show at check in the day of the event.)
