This week kids will get to learn about the various aspects of theatre and putting on a show! Through improv games, crafts and music, kids will create characters, learn about collaboration in acting, projection, costumes, props, set design and performing on a stage. At the end of the week on Friday, 6/30 at 11:30am, parents and friends can come and see the children in their final performance! This program takes place in our air conditioned gym and stage, as well as on our outside stage.
*Please have your child bring a water bottle and snack each day.

Instructor: Kate Teichman
Kate has her B.F.A. in theater from Ohio University and is an iO! Chicago trained improviser. Kate has worked as a teaching artist, performer, and director for almost 20 years. She has taught both kid and adult classes in schools, theater organizations and hospital settings. She loves helping people tap into their creativity and cannot wait for all the hilarious things you are going to say next!
