Join us in this hilariously dark and delightfully mischievous adventure in "The Twits," adapted from Roald Dahl's beloved story by David Wood. This play invites young actors and audiences to meet Mr. and Mrs. Twit, two of the most dreadful and down right nasty characters imaginable! The Twits spend their days playing cruel pranks on each other, trapping birds to make Bird Pie, and being generally horrid to everyone they encounter. But the cleaver Roly-Poly Bird and a band of Muggle-Wump monkeys have had enough! Together, they devise a clever plan to outwit the Twits and teach them a lesson in kindness.
This lively adaptation is full of slapstick comedy, fun dialogue, and moments of pure Dahl-like magic, making it a perfect choice for children and families alike. Young actors will get a chance to dive into eccentric roles, explore physical comedy, and bring the wacky, wild world of Roald Dahl to life on stage. Expect lots of laughs, surprises, and valuable lessons about the power of kindness and teamwork.
