Step into the spotlight in this exciting program! We'll combine the fun of lip syncing and dance with the fundamentals of theater and stage performance. Participants will build confidence, express creativity, and develop their stage presence as they rehearse a pop song of their choosing. They'll learn movement and dance by creating their own routine. Along the way, kids will enhance their coordination, communication skills, and self-confidence, all while having a blast with their friends! They'll even get to design their own t-shirt for their final performance. The program concludes with a final showcase where performers can shine in front of their family and friends on stage!

Kate has her B.F.A. in theater from Ohio University and is an iO! Chicago trained improviser. Kate has worked as a teaching artist, performer, and director for almost 20 years. She has taught both kid and adult classes in schools, theater organizations and hospital settings. She loves helping people tap into their creativity and cannot wait for all the hilarious things you are going to say next!
